It really made me think about art in general and sculpting in particular. All any artist (except abstract, I suppose) can do is view what nature has given us and try to reproduce it either with or without our own modifications. Not that I'm complaining--God has provided an endless bounty of visual pleasure. Whether it is the delicate configuration of a butterfly wing, or the hardiest mountain range, there is always beauty and art to be found in nature. I suppose the best that any artist can hope for is to bring as much beauty and inspiration to our fellow man through their work as nature has brought to them.

Just my two cents.

Our goal here is to be the one-stop source for all things fairy. This is no easy task as there are thousands of websites, tutorials, sculptures, products, chat boards, magazines, festivals, pictures, books, movies, stories...well, you get the idea. This will most likely be a life-long research project because new things come along every single day. However, we will endeavor to stay as current and organized as possible.

So as they say "go with what you know", we will be starting out with sculpting fairies and free tutorials and working outwards from there. As a bonus, we will have a section on selling on eBay because it is a valuable resource for both selling and buying fairy items.
